Trip Summary

Day 1. March 8. Madrid

WELCOME!

We picked you up at the airport and transferred you to your accommodation in central Madrid. We enjoyed a guided tour of the historic center: Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Plaza de Oriente, Gran Vía, etc. For dinner, we had some bites at the famous Mercado de San Miguel and other more formal options recommended by us.

Day 2. March 9. Madrid

BEGINNING TO DISCOVER

In the morning, we took a panoramic tour of Madrid, visiting its main landmarks: Fuente de Cibeles, Jardines del Retiro, Puerta de Alcalá, Paseo del Prado, etc. We then visited the Royal Palace, the Prado Museum, and the Real Madrid Museum at Santiago Bernabéu. We ended the day with free time in the Madrid of the Austrias, enjoying its gastronomy and iconic spots.

Day 3. March 10. Madrid and Toledo

After breakfast, we headed to Toledo. We explored its medieval historic center, winding streets, the Cathedral, and Synagogues. In the afternoon, we returned to Madrid and enjoyed the Madrid nightlife, attending a typical Flamenco show and exploring trendy bars.

Day 4. March 11. Rome

Early in the morning, we headed to Madrid airport to fly to Rome. We took a first tour of the Italian capital: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Castel Sant’Angelo. We ended the day dining at a trattoria in Campo Dei Fiori.

Day 5. March 12. Rome

On Sunday, we started in St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican, listening to Pope Francis pray the Angelus and receiving his apostolic blessing. In the afternoon, we explored Imperial Rome: Colosseum, Forum, Circus Maximus, and the Baths of Caracalla. We ended the day in authentic Roman restaurants.

Day 6. March 13. Rome

We returned to the Vatican to visit the Vatican City, its Museums, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Papal Tombs. We had lunch in Trastevere, enjoying its cafes and pizzas. We spent the rest of the day visiting the Rome of the Romans, away from the usual tourist routes.

Day 7. March 14. Paris

VOILÀ PARIS!

In the morning, we flew to Paris and walked along the Champs-Élysées. We explored central Paris, the Latin Quarter, Notre Dame Cathedral, Sorbonne University, and the Pantheon. We also enjoyed a boat ride on the Seine.

Day 8. March 15. Paris

ROMANTIC PARIS

We climbed the Eiffel Tower and toured Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe. We walked through Montmartre and explored the Marais with its shops and art galleries. We ended the day at Pont Neuf with a glass of champagne and a picnic.

Day 9. March 16. Paris

We explored local Paris, visiting its architecture and museums, such as the Rodin Museum, Marmottan Monet Museum, and the Louis Vuitton Foundation. We visited Versailles, luxury shops, and the bohemian Pigalle with its famous Arab baths. Natalia and some of the group enjoyed Disneyland Paris on its 30th anniversary.

Day 10. March 17. London

We took the high-speed train to London. After transferring to our accommodation, we walked around the city: Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, and Trafalgar Square.

Day 11. March 18. London

We explored historic London: Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament and Big Ben. We sailed on the Thames and visited the Tower of London. In the afternoon, we visited museums like the British Museum and enjoyed a musical in London.

Day 12. March 19. London

We visited the Warner Bros Studios and learned about Harry Potter. We also explored St. Pancras Station and Platform 9¾. In the afternoon, we went to Abbey Road Studios and dined in Soho.

Day 13. March 20. Dublin

We flew to Dublin and visited its historic center: Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and other iconic buildings.

Day 14. March 21. Dublin

Jorge chose the day’s plan with our support and guide. We enjoyed a good pint of beer and chowder in lively pubs with live music.

Day 15. March 22. Dublin-Madrid-Mexico

We flew to Madrid, where we assisted you at the terminal for your flight back to Mexico, concluding our wonderful trip.
